David Meyerson, Advanced Multimedia Designer

Flash Design & Programming:
I can design, animate and program full flash web sites, animated site supplements (i.e. image slideshows, animated ads/banners, games, menu/navigation systems). I am also experienced in producing CD-Rom, Platform-based Flash and AIR applications, as well as interactive tradeshow kiosks.

Web design & development:
The most important part, this is the arrangement and creation of web pages that in turn make up a web site; whose layout design, selected color scheme(s), and overall emotional tone fulfills the originating intent.

There are many aspects to this process, and due to the rapid development of industrial, technological and perceived trends, new aspects are continually being added. I specialize in bringing my clients' imagination and vision to the World Wide Web in new interesting ways.

GUI design:
Graphical user interfaces (GUIs) have become the paradigm for Human-Computer Interaction. GUI's are how we tell a computer, web site, ATM Machine, and now even cars, what it is we want to be doing.

For an application, a good GUI design is essential for the success of the project. If it's hard to use, then people will tend to shy away from using it, while at the same time if it's very user-friendly and incorporates many time-tested structural techniques, then the users of the application will prefer to use yours versus the competitors'.

Flash applications:
From stand-alone kiosk applications to internal corporate intranet applications, Flash has a way of doing it all. The Flash applications and programs that I create give the user experience priority. The subtle effects are all present, making for a unique look and feel.

There are infinite ways you can use Flash applications in your business or on your web site. From giving customers virtual previews of products not yet created, to showing real-time information and data streams from various departments.

Logo Design:
The logo is like a country's flag, it is the symbol by which others recognize you. Your company needs an innovative, easily branded identity, one that not only conveys the overall purpose of your company, but one that is cost-effective to produce business and corporate collateral.

The logos I design are normally eye catching and simple. They are designed using simple color pattern and short text; it is unprofessional to make the logo unnecessarily flamboyant. Having a logo designed by a professional is a wise investment because the designers have the knowledge to create logos befitting the business.

Business Collateral:
This includes business cards, brochures, flyers, folders, letterheads, documents such as invoices, contracts, etc.

Your business collateral is seen by your clients and depending on the quality, can hurt or help your business. Nowadays there just isn't an excuse for poor quality collateral.

Educational Animations:
These are the demonstrations used to convey a point, teach a lesson, or show a sequence of events that could not otherwise be understood unless the viewers see it for themselves.

Educational animations bring the student a new way to learn. Using these animations transcends simple lecture-based teaching; it gives the teacher the ability to show the students demonstrations to further reinforce their lesson. It can be placed inside PowerPoint animations, web sites, television, etc. Put simply, it's a great way to demonstrate and teach anything.

Interactive Courseware:
Typically found glued to the backs of collegiate textbooks, interactive learning tools have come a very long way since the dawn of interactive media. Today, eLearning systems can act as a supplement; giving additional information about particular topics, which may require or normally require more time for the learner to absorb. These courses can also act as a stand-alone system, acting as a virtual guide or interactive course for students to test their knowledge. The eLearning courses I develop include all of the most interesting and enveloping interactive techniques to enthrall the learner, and give them a truly professional learning experience.

Photo Manipulation & Correction:
Sometimes the photo comes out wrong, or you stop talking to the person standing next to you in the background. That's where I come in: restorations, color fixes, people removal.

Various effects are also possible (i.e. sepia-tone, duotone, tarnished, etc), rough grunge effects, digital borders & mats.
